Description
The R300 Abrasive Ring Cleaning Ball is specially developed for stainless steel and titanium condenser tubes operating with all types of cooling water, including special water conditions.
The R300 features a localized silicon carbide abrasive ring bonded to a resilient sponge body. This unique design delivers concentrated cleaning power at specific contact points, effectively removing hard deposits while minimizing wear on tube surfaces.
For copper alloy tubes, the R300 should only be used in accordance with our technical recommendations.

Recommended Cleaning Frequency
The cleaning frequency and the number of circulating cleaning balls should be determined according to the operating conditions and verified through technical evaluation or field testing.

Working Principle
The R300 is designed as an intensive cleaning ball and should not be used as a continuous operating ball.
Its localized abrasive ring creates two high-pressure contact points inside the tube, enabling effective removal of particularly thick and hard deposits. Once the abrasive ring has worn away on most of the circulating balls, the balls should be replaced to maintain optimum cleaning performance.
Technical Notes
Under microscopic examination, the abrasion marks produced by the R300 are finer than those generated during the manufacturing process of stainless steel and titanium tubes.
Because the abrasive ring contacts the tube wall at only two points, fully coated abrasive cleaning balls (such as the T-Series) are generally preferred when uniform cleaning of the entire tube circumference is required.
Excessive or improper use may accelerate wear of heat exchanger tubes or system components. The R300 should therefore be used only for periodic intensive cleaning in accordance with recommended operating procedures.
